Lego has unveiled a new kit that adds unprecedented levels of detail to a replica of an iconic car, the classic Porsche 911. it’s not easy to make a real vehicle into a lego model — there are so many subtle shapes and curves that just aren’t possible in a medium made of little plastic bricks. however, lego’s latest 1,458-piece set recreates the “g-nose” Porsche 911 in impressive detail. the model has working steering, a detailed interior, and even a flat-six engine in the rear, accessible via the opening trunk lid. the iconic Fuchs wheels are replicated, too. the kit will be available on march 1 and is priced at $199.99.
