BUFFY star slams director Whedon over Behaviour

Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Charisma Carpenter is the latest star accusing Joss Whedon of bad behaviour behind the scenes, revealing she was left scarred by the showrunner’s misconduct on set. “Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions while working together on the sets of buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel,” she posted on social media. “The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer.” Carpenter, shown, alleges Whedon repeatedly threatened to fire her, told her castmates she was “fat” when she was pregnant and mocked her religious beliefs. “He was mean and biting, disparaging about others openly, and often played favourites, pitting people against one another to compete and vie for his attention and approval,” Carpenter wrote.
