‘Teflon PM’

-

Re: PM dropped ball on COVID, Letter to the editor, April 24

Letter writer David Woolf did what most of the media haven’t done enough — call out the prime minister for dropping the ball. Yes, certain premiers have made wrong decisions, but looking at the success of other countries, two priorities stand out: shutting the borders quickly last year (which we didn’t), and more importantly now, getting vaccines quickly into the arms of citizens (which we have not). It starts at the top and Justin Trudeau refuses to take any responsibility for dropping the ball. In six years the Teflon PM is still getting a pass by mainstream media. Of all the scandals beside his name, this one is by far the worst.
