Papal events moved indoors
Pope Francis will not read his Christmas message from the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica because of new restrictions in Italy. The six addresses to be
delivered between Dec. 26 and Jan. 6 will be held indoors and live streamed and broadcast on television. Italians will be under a lockdown for
much of the holidays, with a 10 p.m. curfew.
