`JUDITH' DENCH WOULD HAUNT PEOPLE, PLACES SHE LOVES

Dame Judi Dench's parents hadn't chosen a name for her when she was born, but a chance meeting with a woman led to their choice. “My father met (a famous medium) a day after I was born. She said, `I'm very pleased to hear about Judith.' So I was called Judith.” The actress — who plays eccentric medium Madame Arcati in new movie Blithe Spirit — believes in the spirit world. “There is a huge world we don't know about.” Dench joked that after she dies, she'll “haunt” people and the places she loved.
