TANYA ROBERTS HAS DIED
A day after her publicist mistakenly announced her death, Tanya Roberts died Monday night. The actress and model died at age 65 at CedarsSinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where she'd been hospitalized since Christmas Eve after collapsing in her home after a hike. Her partner, Lance O'Brien, told TMZ that Roberts's doctor told him she had died and her publicist Mike Pingel prematurely announced her death on Sunday. A misunderstanding between the two caused the mistake. Pingel backtracked on his statement on Monday, clarifying that Roberts was still alive but remained in the ICU in “dire” condition as of that morning. Roberts was known for starring in the 1985 James Bond movie A View to a Kill and for playing Midge Pinciotti on That '70s Show. She was also on Charlie's Angels, modelled for Playboy and starred in commercials.
