According to an economic research paper on the economics of B.C. Hydro's $10.7-billion Site C hydro project, three Canadian economists estimated “the total present value of electricit­y output” from the project at $2.76 billion in today's dollars. An FP Comment column by Terence Corcoran, “B.C.'s Site C hydro power boondoggle shows real cost of `clean' energy,” incorrectl­y referred to the estimate as “net” present value.
