Prince Charles has unveiled his biggest environmental initiative, an ambitious Magna Carta-style charter that gives fundamental rights and value to nature. The Terra Carta will encourage the private sector to invest US$10 billion in “natural capital,” such as landscape restoration, reforestation and carbon offsetting. Among early signatories are Heathrow Airport, Coutts, Bank of America, HSBC and AstraZeneca.
