The Tower of London's “queen” raven, Merlina, is missing and feared dead as it has not been seen for several weeks, its keeper has revealed. Seven ravens remain, however, warding off the prophecy that when the birds leave the Tower of London, the country will fall. The keeper said Merlina had a big personality, enjoyed being fed Pringles chips and often shared a bench with the ravenmaster on his lunch break. In 2018 the Tower launched a raven breeding program.
