GRIZZLIES GAMES POSTPONED

The Memphis Grizzlies’ next three games have been postponed in accordance with the league’s health and safety protocols, the NBA announced Thursday.

The postponed games are Friday’s contest at the Portland Trail Blazers and home dates on Sunday and Monday with the Sacramento Kings.

The Grizzlies’ game Wednesday night in Portland was previously postponed.

Memphis (7-6) has won five consecutiv­e games, most recently a 108-104 decision against the Phoenix Suns on Monday.

Meanwhile, it’s not all bad news for the NBA these days.

NBA viewership was up 34 per cent this season through Monday’s games.

There were 2.0 million average viewers through 27 games, compared to 1.49 million during a comparable number of games in 2019-20, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The NBA’s social media platforms have also generated record engagement this season, with a 201 per cent boost in minutes watched over last season.
