HOLLAND FLIPPED OVER LANDING SPIDER-MAN ROLE

-

Tom Holland was so excited to discover he had landed the role of Spider-Man that he broke his laptop. Holland, who has played the superhero since 2016, recalled the moment he found out he'd replaced Andrew Garfield as the Marvel character in a new Variety Actors on Actors interview. “I got my computer, and my dog was sitting next to me. I type in `Marvel' ... It said, `We would like to introduce our new Spider-Man, Tom Holland,'” he said. “I broke my computer, because I flipped it up in the air. It fell off my bed. My dog went nuts.” Holland, shown, is also reportedly up for the role of Willy Wonka in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory prequel. Timothée Chalamet is also in the running, says Britain's The Sun newspaper.
