The Queen is the head of state in Canada. An incorrect description of the governor general’s role appeared in a story Friday.

In the Jan. 21 column by Carson Jerema titled “KXL failure has Kenney down but not out,” the nature of the merger between Cenovus and Husky Energy was misstated. In fact Cenovus purchased Husky Energy.
