OFF THE TOP PANDEMIC DELAYS QUIET PLACE II

-

The sequel to A Quiet Place has been postponed again due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Paramount originally pushed back the release of A Quiet Place Part II from Sept. 4, 2020, to April 23, 2021. It's now scheduled for Sept. 17. John Krasinski, shown, directed and starred in the original 2018 film, which follows a family in a post-apocalyptic world where creatures use sound to attack humans. Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt, co-starred in the movie. The sequel follows the same family as they venture beyond their hometown, and although Krasinski's character died in the first movie, he will appear in flashbacks. Krasinski will also direct. Press screenings of the horror sequel had already taken place before the delay was announced, and critics have called the film “just as tense and terrifying as the first one.”
