SPRINGSTEEN, OBAMA PUT OUT PODCAST

Former U.S. president Barack Obama is teaming up with Bruce Springsteen for a new Spotify podcast. Titled Renegades: Born in the USA, the eight-episode series will feature the friends discussing everything from race to fatherhood to modern manhood to the state of the U.S. “In our own ways, Bruce and I have been on parallel journeys trying to understand this country that's given us both so much,” Obama says in the podcast intro.

“Trying to chronicle the stories of its people. Looking for a way to connect our own individual searches for meaning and truth and community with the larger story of America.” Renegades is the second podcast from Higher Ground, the production company Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, created after leaving the White House. The first two episodes are now available to both free and paid Spotify users.
