BACHELOR CHANGES IN THE WORKS AFTER RACISM FALLOUT
Bachelor producers are working to make changes to the franchise, People reports, following host Chris Harrison's interview with Bachelor alum Rachel Lindsay, in which he failed to condemn current contestant Rachael Kirkconnell's past racist actions. “There are talks happening regarding Chris Harrison (pictured), and his future with the show,” a source say. Kirkconnell was scrutinized for old social media posts in which she was dressed in Indigenous attire and attended an antebellum plantation-themed college party in 2018. She has since apologized. Harrison has apologized twice for saying people should have “a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion” for her actions, and announced he would step away from the franchise for a while.
