Rescue Afghan interpreters
Re: Canada should rescue its Afghan friends, Terry Glavin, July 15
Canada must immediately act to rescue the 100 Afghan interpreters, who were of invaluable assistance to Canadian soldiers and diplomats and who will certainly be killed by the Taliban if we abandon them. One of the fundamental rules of army conduct is that no man be left behind. Our prime minister needs to take time out from campaigning for re-election and dishing out taxpayer money to act immediately to extricate the Afghan interpreters and their families.
