OFF THE TOP PARTON WRITES A FIRST NOVEL

Dolly Parton has teamed up with bestselling author James Patterson for her first novel. She will release Run, Rose, Run in March, along with a new album. “I cannot be more excited about the release of my very first novel,” said Parton, shown. “I also have a new album to go along with the book. The songs were written based on the characters and situations in the book.” Said Patterson: “It's an honour — and a hell of a lot of fun — to work with the inimitable Dolly Parton, whom I've long admired for her music, her storytelling and her enormous generosity.” This is not Patterson's first high-profile collaboration — he has co-written two books with former U.S. president Bill Clinton. Run, Rose, Run follows the fortunes of a young woman who moves to Nashville, Tenn., to chase her music dreams.
