Five female entrepreneurs, with five unique brands, have joined forces to showcase their merchandise under one roof on Bayview Avenue in Leaside.

The Marketplace Pop-Up is now open until June 30 and offers a curated selection of seasonal items for women, such as swimwear and accessories, in a stylish and fun setting. Owners of the Code Accessories, Jaxx & Marbles, Iskka, Cocolelly and Inkkas came together as a group to pool their resources and create this oneof-a-kind shop (1625 Bayview Ave.). Now celebrating its 15th year as a luxury design destination in the GTA, South Hill has expanded into a new multi-level showroom residing on the historic corner of Dupont Street and Davenport Road. The space is curated by world-class contemporary designers, providing exclusive access to timeless collections and high-end furnishings from New York, Milan, London, Paris and Bangkok. Principals Sandra and Nella De Luca and Paul Harper continue to bring decades of design experience to the showroom (146 Dupont St., 416-924-7224). A small but charming café has opened in the St. Clair West neighbourhood. Lion Coffee x Chocolat de Kat is part coffee shop, part chocolatier — because what pairs better with your daily dose of caffeine than an assortment of tasty, bite-sized chocolates? Patrons can grab a cup of joe, espresso, cappuccino or whatever they fancy in one the shop’s trademark coffee cups, adorned with a whimsical lion’s head for that something extra special (881 St. Clair Ave. W.). Toronto’s newest luxury beauty salon has opened in the upper oval of Yorkville Village. Radford, the onestop shop for hair, makeup and skin care was founded by celebrity makeup artist and esthetician Victoria Radford. The salon offers in-studio makeup applications and hair styling, cutting and colouring, in addition to customized skin treatments (55 Avenue Rd., Unit 210, 416-399-3704). A new hair salon has moved into the Mirvish Village area of the Annex. CL Salon offers cuts, colour treatments and styles for men and women in a modern space. The salon has several talented stylists on the team and at the ready — many of whom are bilingual and fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese, as well as English (771 Bathurst St., 416-531-6127). Toronto-based cold-pressed juice lab Elxr Juice Lab has a new permanent wellness café at Bayview Village. Located near the CIBC entrance, the café offers juice remedies as well as hot drinks, fresh baked goods from Oakville-based Julia’s Joyful Kitchen and proteinpacked energy bites. This opening marks the company’s first full-service café location (2901 Bayview Ave., 416-260-8666).
