A 22-year-old male sus­pect has been ar­rested fol­low­ing an auto theft and col­li­sion in­ci­dent. On the morn­ing of Dec. 13,Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice of­fi­cers an­swered a call around 3 a.m. re­gard­ing a re­ported auto theft in the area of Spad­ina Av­enue and Col­lege Street and dis­cov­ered a taxi driver’s ve­hi­cle had been stolen at gun­point. They were able to track down the ve­hi­cle to the area of Clan­ton Park Road and Wil­son Heights Boule­vard where the sus­pect had crashed it into a home, suf­fer­ing a se­ri­ous in­jury re­quir­ing hos­pi­tal at­ten­tion. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.

Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice is ask­ing for the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance in iden­ti­fy­ing a male sus­pect wanted in a sex­ual in­ves­ti­ga­tion. On Dec. 3, po­lice re­sponded to a call at Fairview Mall at around 7 p.m. to find out a 23-year-old fe­male vic­tim had been ap­proached by an un­known sus­pect, who grabbed her from be­hind, sex­u­ally as­sault­ing her be­fore flee­ing the area. The vic­tim had fin­ished shop­ping and was about to head home. They have re­leased cam­era im­ages on their web­site. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion on this in­ci­dent is asked to con­tact au­thor­i­ties.

Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice is try­ing to lo­cate a ve­hi­cle and two sus­pects in re­la­tion to sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­i­ties be­ing re­ported in the Les­lie Street and York Mills Road area. On Dec. 12, in­ves­ti­ga­tors re­ported that an 11-year-old male vic­tim walk­ing down Les­lie Street was ap­proached by a ve­hi­cle. The fe­male sus­pect in the pas­sen­ger seat in­vited the vic­tim into the car, but he re­fused. The driver of the ve­hi­cle, a male sus­pect, drove off once the vic­tim re­fused to get in the car. Po­lice re­quire as­sis­tance in iden­ti­fy­ing the ve­hi­cle, a light-coloured sedan, as well as the two sus­pect.
