Res­i­dents pa­raded their dogs around the base­ball field for the Best Dressed Dog com­pe­ti­tion. Karen Hil­lier (pic­tured) dressed up her dog Remi for the po­lice ca­nine unit. Remi looked good, don­ning his coolest shades.

Grip­ping their hands and tug­ging as hard as pos­si­ble were adults com­pet­ing in the tug of war com­pe­ti­tion, but in the end the team on the right were over­matched, tum­bling for­ward in de­feat.

Chil­dren raced to grab as much candy as pos­si­ble dur­ing the candy scrab­ble.

The heroic “Su­per” Max was decked out in a green cape as he pa­raded around the field and showed him­self off to the judges with his owner Robin Blake.
