Com­ing next week – Canada’s Top Ten! Es­tab­lished in 2001, Canada’s Top Ten cel­e­brates the best in Canadian cinema by rec­og­niz­ing the year’s top films. An anony­mous panel of film pro­fes­sion­als vote on the ten best Canadian films of the year with fea­tures, doc­u­men­taries, an­i­ma­tion and short films all el­i­gi­ble. Fol­low­ing the an­nounce­ment of the 2002 Canada’s Top Ten on Tues­day Jan­uary 21, some of the fea­tured di­rec­tors ap­pear at Cine­math­eque On­tario at 6: 30pm on Jan­uary 22 and 23 for a spe­cial se­ries of film­maker dis­cus­sions. Or­der your tick­ets to­day by call­ing the Bell In­fo­line at 416.968.FILM. Sin­gle tick­ets are $5.00 or $8.00 (when pur­chased in ad­vance) for the two evenings. All pro­ceeds will go to­wards the Sprock­ets Pocket Fund.
