FEVER RAY

Karin Dreijer seems to morph into Fever Ray following a major life change. The Swedish musician, best known as one half of now-defunct pop duo the Knife, released the self-titled first album in 2009 after becoming a mother, and the rhythmically wild follow-up Plunge came out last year following her divorce and coming out as queer. Plunge’s wild experimentation, BDSM fixation and blunt anti-patriarchal messaging has more in common with the Knife’s last hurrah than Fever Ray’s dark and wintry debut, as does the stage show featuring a cast of costumed dancers that visually expand the project from solo effort to collective experience. With Bunny Michael. 7 pm. $37-$41. 11 Polson. ticketmaster.ca.
