Another new jet order for Bombardier
Bombardier Aerospace has received a new order for six Learjet 75 business jets. The company said Thursday the sale to the unidentified buyer is valued at about $81 million US based on the list price for typically equipped aircraft. The Learjet 75, a smaller version of the Learjet 85, is capable of flying more than 3,700 kilometres non-stop. The announcement followed a spate of preChristmas deals, including an announcement last Friday of a $293-million US order for five Global 6000 business jets from an existing customer, which it also did not name.
