We need a visionary
Re: Liberals give rousing tribute to ‘one of our greatest leaders,’ Jan. 26 and Organization, appeal Wynne the day, Jan. 28.
If Premier Dalton McGuinty takes time to reflect on his past performance, he no doubt shall see, as most Ontarians do, bad decisions, bad judgment and deceit, leaving the province in a poor state.
Once the next potential leaders come back to reality after their rousing tribute to him, hopefully they will seriously review their policies and agenda, and re-establish effective governance for Ontario respecting good management and fundamental democratic principles.
Kathleen Wynne, who will become Ontario’s first female premier, shall hopefully have the pedigree to manage an organization competently with honesty and integrity. She shall hopefully primarily serve the interest of the province and its peoples rather than her political party. As a true visionary, the future premier shall hopefully show the type of leadership and values that will reveal the best long-term economic, social and security interests of the province, ultimately becoming a true inspiration to party members, future generations of politicians and Ontarians.
I hope that Wynne and her members will comprehend the real mandate and be prepared to serve in a truly honourable manner and possibly restore faith in people, beyond election day ad infinitum.
