Glengarry man charged after 2 cruisers rammed
A 21-year-old man from South Glengarry Township has been arrested after a motorist first drove, then ran from police who saw a him driving a Nissan Pathfinder on an ATV trail near the Quebec border. Police chased the SUV through the bush, and stationed a police car in the path where 2nd Line Road meets the ATV trail, but the driver simply rammed the cruiser and drove north on 2nd Line Road. Police finally stopped the SUV at County Road 18 after the driver rammed into a second police car, lost control and went into a field. The following day in Cornwall, police arrested Callum Cumming, 21, of South Glengarry.
