SENSORY SPACE
Marie-Helene Barbeau, 11, who has severe autism, enjoys the reopened Snoezelen Room at Clifford Bowey Public School. The room operates as a therapeutic sensory space for the school’s 104 students, aged 3 to 21, who all deal with varying disabilities. The room provides stimulation and relaxation through the use of smell, touch, sound, colour and light.
