Police say man scammed $27,000 in one day

Police are searching for a fraud suspect who withdrew more than $27,000 from banks and automated teller machines in Centretown in a single day in October. The man, about 45 to 50 years old, is believed to have committed similar acts of fraud in Montreal, according to Ottawa police. He is described as a five-foot-10 white man.
