Studios & maple syrup:
Just in time to catch the sap running in Lanark County, the Maple Run Studio Tour takes place Saturday and Sunday. Check out the works of almost two dozen artists at nine studios in and around Pakenham. Studios are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the selfguided tour. Home show: Don’t miss the annual Home & Garden Show, which continues until Sunday at the Ernst & Young Centre, 4899 Uplands Dr. With close to 400 exhibitors offering a plethora of ideas, services and products, there’s something for every budget and project. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+) and youths (13-17) and free for children 12 and under.

Antiques: Check out 40,000 square feet of retro, vintage and antique items as the Ottawa Antique Show returns to The Fieldhouse at Carleton University, Bronson and Sunnyside avenues, April 5 to 7.
