Fusebill gets $2M in additional funding
Fusebill, an Ottawa startup, has landed $2 million in new venture capital funding to drive sales of an automated billing system sold to small and medium companies. The technology is aimed at speeding payments for the increasing number of services sold by subscription rather than upfront licensing. OMERS Ventures led the round of funding and Covington Capital, an earlier investor, also participated. Fusebill was launched by former executives at Protus IP Solutions after that company was sold to J2Global of California two years ago.
