Amazing volunteers
On Thursday night, about an hour before the Kenny Wayne Shepherd show at Bluesfest, I decided to buy a beer. When I went to pay I noticed my money clip with about $140 was missing. I retraced my steps and found nothing.
As I was walking back to the River Stage a man in a Bluesfest volunteer shirt asked me if I had lost something, as I looked worried. I told him what happened. He said a couple of young Guitar Raffle volunteers, Khalif and Samantha, found my clip and turned it in to the supervisors.
After a few questions, they returned it to me and all the money was there. I tried to give the volunteers a reward, but they refused to take it, so I bought some raffle tickets instead.
These two young people are outstanding, honest and modest. Their parents should be proud. They made my night a happy occasion and the shows were absolutely the best.
