Man charged in pepper spray, pellet gun attack at Gatineau restaurant

-

A 42-year-old man who pepper-sprayed several people at a Gatineau restaurant and shot at them from the parking lot with a pellet gun may have been seeking revenge, police said. Police were called just before 9 a.m. Friday to the Le Ronfleur restaurant on Montreal Road. The suspect, who wore a scarf to hide his face, pepper sprayed the store’s owner and two customers. As the suspect walked back to his car, he pulled a pellet gun from his pants and fired it before he sped off in his vehicle. No one was injured.
