What: This version from Ballet Jörgen also boasts a Canadian theme, with Northern Ontario coming to life in backdrops that are based on paintings from the Group of Seven. Klara arrives in Canada and encounters winter scenes complete with lumberjack­s, Mounties and creatures of the woods, from loons to raccoons. Local dancers fill many smaller roles.

Good to know: This production is also a popular favourite presented in smaller halls, and tickets are less expensive.
