Put OC Transpo on the ‘nice’ list

-

With all of the complaints and horror stories we hear regarding OC Transpo, I thought I’d swing it around and say I have been fortunate to have very positive experiences with them.

In mid-November, I fractured my ankle and I am no longer able to drive. I have a long commute to work with one transfer. The drivers have been so tremendously helpful and accom- modating during this time. In particular I want to thank Brenda who drives the 99 Lebreton route. Her effort to make sure my journey as unproblematic as possible is so appreciated. Thanks as well to John who drives the 97 Bells Corners route. Top-notch driving skills also — they sure knew how to handle last week’s snowstorm; I’m sure they’ll do a stellar job following this weekend’s snow accumulation, too.

Let’s not always search for something negative to talk about, watch, listen to or read about. Instead, let’s make it something positive. We don’t have to always concentrate on the naughty; let’s also look at the nice.

Merry Christmas, OC Transpo.
