HACKING HEARTACHE
Lawrence nude pix nicked
Jennifer Lawrence’s usual sunny disposition has been hit by a blizzard of bad news after it was revealed racy photos of the Hunger Games star were hacked.
The graphic pictures of the young star began circulating on the Internet late last week. The nude selfies — apparently obtained by an anonymous hacker who has targeted more than 100 celebrities, including model-actress Kate Upton and pop star Rihanna — allegedly show Lawrence naked from the waist up in various locations, ranging from a dressing room to her own bedroom.
In a cynical piece of cyber-marketing, the hacker also offered to “accept PayPal donations” for a video that allegedly shows Lawrence performing a sex act “if somebody wants it let me know how I can upload it anonymously (I don’t want the FBI over me, and you don’t wanna know how I got this video),” the hacker said.
Within hours, a spokesman for Lawrence declared this “a flagrant violation of privacy,” adding, “the authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos.”
So far, it’s the first bump in the road for the Kentucky-born actress, who drives a station wagon, likes to surf and is disarmingly down-toearth. Thanks to the Hunger Games trilogy, a best actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook and Hollywood’s voracious appetite for sweet young blood, Lawrence is the girl of the moment. The scandal is part of the fame game Lawrence says she never wanted.
“I look at Kristen Stewart now,” Lawrence said of the Twilight star, “and I think: ‘I would never want to be that famous.’ ”
