I Think I Owe You: Cassidy bankrupt

David Cassidy has sold more 30 million records, but now the pop singer and former Partridge Family star says he’s broke, mired in debt and has just filed for bankruptcy. Gossip site TMZ.com says Cassidy filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week and owes creditors hundreds of thousands of dollars. His debts include $39,102 on credit cards, a $292,598 mortgage against his house and a long list of lawyers’ fees.
