THE GREAT CANADIAN CHEESE FESTIVAL

When: Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Picton Fairgrounds, south of Belleville How much: Admission costs $50 per day at the door or $45 online. Getting there: It’s less than a three-hour drive. Ottawa’s Savvy Company is offering a bus to the fest on Saturday, June 6. The fee of $165 per person includes an afternoon at the festival, a visit to a County winery and cider company and the “Makers + Mongers Cheeseburgers in Paradise” dinner at the festival.
