Host: East Nepean Eagles The Eagles have appeared in two national championsh­ips, in 2004 and 2013, winning both years. At the World Series as the Canadian representa­tive they went 1-2 both trips.

Ontario: High Park Braves — High Park has the third-most Canadian titles in Little League history, winning in 1960, 1989, 1995 and 2000. High Park was the runnerup last year and also in 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001 and 2005.

Quebec: Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Lynx — Despite only being in existence for 18 years the Lynx have appeared at the Canadian Championsh­ip eight times finishing as the runner-up in 2004. They also appeared in 2006, 2008. 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014

Atlantic: Glace Bay McDonald’s Colonels — Glace Bay has won the second most national titles, winning in 1987, 1988, 1991, 1994 and 2003. The Nova Scotia team has also been the runners-up in 1982, 1992, 1995, 1998 and in 2008.

Prairies: Moose Jaw AAA All-Stars — Moose Jaw will be making their second appearance at the Canadian Championsh­ip after finishing second in 2003. The Saskatchew­an team secured its trip to Ottawa with a 9-2 win over North Regina in the provincial tournament and because the winners of that tournament could not make the journey.

Alberta: Lethbridge SWLL Red Giants — This will be the fourth consecutiv­e Canadian Championsh­ip for four Lethbridge players, and six players are returning from last year’s team that went 4-2 in the round robin before falling in the semifinal. Lethbridge was the runner-up in 2012.

British Columbia: White Rock All-Stars — White Rock went undefeated in Provincial­s. The All-Stars won Canadian titles in back to back years in 2007 and 2008, and finished second in 2013.
