Carlington Chaplaincy needs volunteer leaders for the Creative Path visual arts program (Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre provides community health and social services to a diverse, westend community. Their adult day program needs help for social, recreation­al, physical activities, and companions­hip. You must be 15 or over and available one day/week from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Commitment is for one year and police records check is required. Seniors and volunteers with disabiliti­es are welcome. Also required: Meals on Wheels delivery volunteers who will be eligible for reimbursem­ent of .43/km. Please submit proof of $2 million insurance coverage. Score with Capital City Condors: These hockey teams for players aged six and up, with developmen­tal and/or physical disabiliti­es, need volunteer on-ice coaches for the hockey program to teach basic skating up to advanced hockey skills weekly in Kanata and Gloucester.
