Bomb surprise during drug raid

Gatineau police were doing their usual duty, serving warrants and arresting suspected drug dealers at four homes, when they walked into an explosive surprise. An apartment they raided in Buckingham had marijuana, speed, $23,000 in cash — and what looked like an unexploded artillery shell. They blocked off Buckingham Avenue and waited for experts to come from the Sûreté du Québec and from CFB Petawawa.
