Teen held over building blaze

A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a serious fire in a two-storey building in the Masson-Angers area in Gatineau’s east end Friday afternoon. The fire on Yvon-Pichette Street broke out on the second floor shortly after noon. Firefighters battled heavy smoke to bring the blaze under control. The fire forced the evacuation of the nearby Zamizou preschool nursery.
