Honeywell to buy Intelligrated for $1.5B

Honeywell International Inc. agreed to buy warehouse automation company Intelligrated for US$1.5 billion from a company backed by the Permira funds. Intelligrated is expected to generate 2016 sales of US$900 million, Honeywell said Friday. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter.
