Mountainous mattress mistake

-

More than 100 mattresses delivered by helicopter to a remote mountain hotel in Austria had to be sent back after it was discovered they were the wrong size. It took eight helicopter trips to deliver all 120 mattresses to the hotel in the Glockner mountain range, which is only accessible by chopper or on foot. But once staf began placing the mattresses on the bed frames it quickly became apparent they were about 10 centimetres too wide, The Local website reported. With no storage area big enough to house the extra mattresses, hotel bosses ordered that they be returned to the valley below. The hotel, the Oberwalderhutte, hopes to have the correct mattresses in place by the fall.
