Love gardening and veggies? Help with our Gardener’s Celebratio­n! Canadian Organic Growers delivers educationa­l programs and events for farmers, gardeners, consumers and organic enthusiast­s. We have a particular interest in increasing access to organic foods for children and seniors. Ottawa Network for Education needs volunteers for a wide range of school-based activities, including language support for 500-plus Syrian newcomer school-aged children, mentoring, math tutoring, junior achievemen­t, clubs, music, etc., in JK to Grade 12 classrooms for the upcoming school year.
