Home show: The Ottawa Fall Home Show returns to the E.Y. Centre (4899 Uplands Dr.) this month with more than 150 exhibitors selling products and services to help you renovate, decorate and upgrade your home or cottage. Sept. 29 and 30 from noon to 9 p.m., Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: $13 for adults, $12 for seniors and youth (13 to 17) and free for children under 12. Homes for the Holidays: Eight exquisite homes in Rockcliffe Park, Dow’s Lake and Manotick will be decorated for the holiday season and put on display Nov. 18-20 for a fundraisin­g tour in support of Hospice Care Ottawa. House tour: The 5th annual “Christmas in Carleton Place House Tour,” benefiting the Carleton Place Hospital Foundation, happens Dec. 3 and 4.
