Police seek help to ID suspect

Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect in a residentia­l break-in on Aug. 24. Detectives say the man broke into an apartment in the 900 block of Bronson Avenue between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., and stole a credit card that was used later in the day in a retail transactio­n. The suspect is described as Caucasian, 25 to 30 years old, five-foot-seven to five-foot-eight inches tall, with an average build and light brown, wavy hair. At the time of the creditcard purchase, the suspect was wearing a red Ottawa Senators T-shirt, dark grey-green cargo shorts and black running shoes.
