Peggy and Dick Bakker spend months every year travelling to developing countries to buy handmade furniture, textiles and home decor for their Third World Bazaar, located inside a renovated barn in Manotick Station. For this year’s sale, which runs for seven weekends starting Oct. 7, the couple visited Turkey for the first time. Karen Turner gives a sneak peek.
