Woman seriously hurt in crash with truck
A 27-year-old Ottawa woman was hospitalized with serious facial and head injuries Wednesday after her car collided with a Canada Post delivery truck near the city’s main mail terminal. First responders were called to the intersection of Sandford Fleming and Terminal avenues shortly after 9 a.m. and found a small red sedan wedged underneath the postal truck. No extrication gear was required to free the woman, who was in stable condition when she arrived in hospital.
