With a core team of talented designers, project management experts and sales people on staff, and a dozen experienced contract installer crews on call, Westend Bath and Kitchen stands out as Ottawa’s premier destination store for home and condominium renovations.

For 30 years, owner Brian Mallett has grown and nurtured his company into a full turnkey renovation design centre whose standards for attentive service, quality materials and caring workmanship bring satisfied customers back again and again. About 40 per cent of his business is from returning clients, and new-customer referrals.

Store manager Alan Carriere, a longtime renovation project manager who has been with the company since 1990, said he is still amazed by the number of customers he has worked with on more than one reno project. One client even left his house key with Westend and left for vacation for the duration of the renovation.

“It’s unbelievable the number of repeat customers we have,” he said. “It’s the quality of the work we do, and the non-chaotic atmosphere that brings them back. We have a simple, organized system that lets us finish on time and on budget. There is constant communication between the designer, the contractor and the customer.”

Carriere accompanies the Westend designers on their initial in-home consultations with clients so that he can take measurements and make a thorough assessment of the structural, electrical and plumbing considerations. Nothing is left to chance.

“If someone wants to reconfigure their bathroom or kitchen, the designers and I have the training and experience to recommend the best options for layout and materials. We look not at what’s there now, but what could be there. We give people a space they’ll love,” Carriere said.

With spring right around the corner, come in and see firsthand why people insist on calling Westend Bath and Kitchen for their renovation projects. The company’s large showroom is just brimming with material samples and creative room displays, including a compact, asymmetrical fourpiece bathroom designed by design supervisor Valerie Laba. It’s an eye-catcher for sure.

The Westend Bath & Kitchen showroom, located at 1660 Woodward Dr., is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also visit www.westend bathandkitchen.com or call 613-226-7701 to schedule a free estimate.
