The good old days of Bluesfest

When the Ottawa Bluesfest began in 1994, I knew of most of the performers. Of the more than 100 performers in Bluesfest 2017, I know of, but may not be familiar with, seven of them. Why don’t the organizers recognize that music lovers 70 and older (me) are still interested in attending and that some performers should be geared to our tastes?
