Rink of Dreams calls it a season after 126 days

-

Calling it “one of our best seasons yet,” the city closed the Rink of Dreams on Wednesday after a 126-day season that saw 30,000 skaters come out. The rink, which is located in Marion Dewar Plaza at city hall, is one of the largest outdoor public rinks in Ottawa. The 2017-18 season lasted about a week longer and saw more skaters than the previous season, which had about 25,000 skaters, Mayor Jim Watson tweeted at the time.
